February 13     Chaperone Meeting 6:30 PM Band Room

February 20     Disney Parent Meeting  6:30 PM Band Room

February 21     6:30 PM Max and Erma’s Grand Re-Opening/Disney Band will perform and 20% of all sales will go towards bus costs for the Disney trip.  Please come have lunch or dinner at Max and Erma’s today! (Flyers to be distributed closer to event.)

February 28     Disney Rehearsal (Bring Tennis shoes!) 2:30-3:15

March 8           Disney Rehearsal (Bring Tennis shoes!) 2:30-3:15

March 18         Disney Rehearsal (Bring Tennis shoes!) 2:30-3:15

March 20         Disney Rehearsal (Bring Tennis shoes!) 2:30-3:15

March 21         5:00- 7:00 PM Bring luggage to Midpark – notary will be available to notarize the permission to treat form.  (If a parent is not available that evening the form must be notarized in advance.)

March 22         Depart for Disney!!

Berea-Midpark Band Camp Dates Announced

Berea- Midpark Band Camp will be held August 12 - 16 and August 19-20 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at Berea-Midpark High School.  The first game will be held August 30. 

Wind Ensemble Announcements Week of 1/3

Jazz Band will begin again on 1/28. Solo and Ensemble forms are due tomorrow (1/5). If you forgot to bring the form home simply email Mrs. Patriok the name of your group or your name if you are taking a solo, the name of the piece, composer, and class if you know it. Fees are $16.00 for solos and $21.00 for ensembles. (Checks to Midpark Music Boosters.) Fees can come in next week but I have to register all students by tomorrow!



Students who are taking a solo to contest are encouraged to study privately at least over the next few weeks. We can help you find a teacher if you are interested!


Final Disney Payments are due 1/16. Make sure you pay the exact amount - we will not be doing refunds from accounts! (Bills went home in December.)

Honors Assignments are due by Wednesday, 1/9. Remember that two projects must be completed this quarter. If you are using orchestra or something else that I would not have an assignment turned in to me you need to type out what you completed and turn that in.


Make-Up assignments for students who had an excused absence from the Holiday Parade are also due 1/9. Check midparkband.com under forms for the make-up assignment options.  Sectional Make-ups (practice log on SmartMusic) must be completed by 1/11.
